After using ESET, I find it better than Kaspersky and Norton, because it can find out the viruses those two missed. I have been using ESET NOD32 Antivirus version 5 on my computer for more than 3 years, and it just worked well as it was described. Now I have updated my license to version 2015, and bought one more license for my wife.
If you ask me why I like ESET NOD32 Antivirus most, I want to say, because it won’t take much CPU, it only does background work. This is much better than Norton and AVG. But its frequent update makes me annoyed, almost every time I start the computer, it will update. To be honest, this is also a good thing. Once there are new viruses, ESET can always detect them. It is worth buying.

I have been using Norton for many years, then some friends recommended ESET NOD32 ANTIVIRUS to me. So I changed into ESET this year. Though I have just used it for a month, I’m very happy about its features and the protection it provides.

I started using computers since 1984. So many years of work experience makes me become an expert for computer. I have used many kinds of security programs, and the earliest product is Norton Utilities. There is a common phenomenon called Bloatware, this often happens on almost all the security software vendors. They start from version 1.0 and keep updating the versions until the software is bought out or go offline.

The vendors always keep working on the software and try to make it as good as possible. However, to increase the sales, they started adding more and more features into the software, although sometimes those features are really not necessary. This makes the software a big package that can almost solve any problems. However, this big package is not a good thing, because it takes large space on system memory and CPU. Computer speed becomes very slow. Crackers and thieves can take advantage of it. I see this kind of thing a lot. So when the product I use reach version 3 or 4, I will change it immediately.

I would like to choose a program that focus on one function. Even though the all-in-one program may be versatile, I will only use the specialized program, for example, antivirus and firewall, but never a security suite. ESET NOD32 Antivirus is very good on this aspect. It focuses on antivirus and performs great. But I suggest the vendor change the product name, because the name is not good for marketing.

As soon as I bought ESET NOD32 ANTIVIRUS, I installed and ran it on my desktop, it really worked and found out many viruses. I don’t have any problem with my computer after that. If I had used it before, I believe my laptop would not have crashed down.

I’m an IT worker, ESET NOD32 Antivirus is the only software I bought by myself. I think it is the best antivirus software. It helps me remove virus from my computer and it doesn’t take too many system resources. The update and scanning work don’t take long time. It always works in the background, so you may even not aware it’s running. Unlike other antivirus software, it won’t slow down the computer.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus is better than Norton though I have used Norton for many years. It takes less time to scan. After it finishes scanning, it can shut down the computer according to your setting. I like it very much.

I’m a long time user of NOD32, it works very well up until now. It runs in the background to protect my computer very well. A great value for such a competitive price.

Installation is very easy. But it is not as handy as Kaspersky, though the effect is very good. It can scan most of my programs within about 2 minutes, but it always takes another 10 minutes to scan the last few programs. In general, it is good.

I have used Nod32 antivirus on all computers in my family for many years. The current version is home version. Before using Nod32, I was using brand X antivirus programs, but my windows XP was still full of viruses, worms and other trash. This is quite annoying. So I tried ESET NOD32 Antivirus. I moved the HD from the sick computer to another healthy one and ran NOD32 on the healthy computer. It cleaned up my HD thoroughly. The whole process was very fast. Now it is my go to software for antivirus. Though there are also other good antivirus programs, ESET NOD32 is the best in my eyes. I haven’t met any program up until now. It is very handy and easy to master.
