After years of hair pulling with the problems of just downloading the software of both Roxio and/or Nero (among a few others), I found one that works great. Ashampoo Burning Studio works like a charm. Best of all, it downloaded and installed within 3 minutes, compared to the 8 min and up for Roxio and Nero.
I have tried several of the programs included with no problems or bugs, so far. The programs open quickly and are ready to go.
I recently purchased the Roxio Creator 2011 package to install on my newly purchased HP Windows 7 computer. The software would not install and gave me an error code. When I looked up this error code, it is a problem code for the Roxio Creator software for the last several years. I had to manual delete the registry of the Roxio files, since it would not uninstall correctly.
I was happy to hear about Ashampoo Burning Studio 10 during my review readings and tried it out. I am sure glad I did, since I purchased the full subscription of it.

Simple et pratique, Nero possède de nombreuses fonctionnalités, mais il n’est pas facile à utiliser.

Vraiment, très, très, très facile et simple à utiliser, même les gens qui sont stupides comme moi savent comment le faire, j'apprécie vraiment la compagnie, et le personnel technique qui a développé ce logiciel.

Son utilisation est simple et claire. Mais je ne sais pas pourquoi il faut plus de 3 heures pour finir d'écrire 4 Go de vidéos.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi j'ai un taux de succès élevé de gravure de DVD alors ça ne fonctionne pas bien quand je grave des CD. Je ne sais pas si c'est le problème du graveur, ou si les CD sont trop bon marché...

Pros: Does much of what Roxio or Nero does, and costs about one-third as much. Only thing I can't see it do is drag and drop to an optical disk.

Il est assez facile à utiliser, la vitesse est rapide et il est riche en fonctionnalités. Cependant, je n'ai utilisé que 500 Mo de mon précédent CD et il reste encore 4G à utiliser ! Mais ce logiciel ne peut plus graver de données sur le CD. Quel énorme gaspillage !

Easy to use bright and airy
Pros: This program is much faster at encoding and writing to disc it is a whole 1.5 hours faster on my machine now.The programs are set out in an easy to view structure with preview information as you hover over the choices, Blueray disc writing included.
Cons: I have not found any as yet still experimenting??
Summary: An excellent piece of software with powerfull opertunities to creat fantastic discs.

Je l'utilise depuis que j'ai acheté le lecteur de CD-ROM. Il est très facile à utiliser et je veux faire quelque chose de simple et clair. Il y a eu une période où mes CD n'arrêtaient pas de s'abîmer et j'ai pensé que c'était un problème de logiciel et, plus tard, je me suis rendu compte que le lecteur était cassé, j'ai presque à tort blâmé le logiciel. Je préfère encore cela avec NERO.

Summary: I love the feature structure,ything you would want as you would like to see it listed and in that order. It performs with limited input understanding from you. Just know what you want and you will find it as you would have expected.

Vraiment très bien. Je l'ai utilisé pour graver plus de 120 disques. Ils sont tous très bons. Il semble que quelques-uns n'ont pu être gravés, mais on peut aussi les lire normalement. C'est peut-être parce que mon graveur est ralenti. C'est vraiment génial, beaucoup plus puissant que Nero.

C’est la première fois que je l’utilise à titre personnel, c’est très agréable de toute façon, mais je ne suis pas trop sûr de ce que cela donne après plusieurs usages.

Le son du CD gravé est un peu faible, j'ai aussi NERO, prenons notre décision finale après la comparaison.

C'est bien de remplacer Nero. Nero n'est pas facile à utiliser.
